Both are in decent condition. There is some dirt and scratches. The "patent" bottle shows a bit more wear and has some very light cracks (they do not go all the way through and do not show well in the photos). Both measure about 4 1 4" tall and the bottom is about 2 1 8" by

Arrived on time as promised. I was able to install it easily on my Jeep Cherokee with 3.2L engine. Good instructions and the part seems to be of good quality. Four Stars only as I have just installed it. Filters are passive components, usually can't tell of their long term quality or reliability unless they leak or cause immediate problems. I recommend this part.
