It features a black painted steel buckle and blackened brass D. O. T. rivets. D. O. T. was the successor to United Carr and their rivets are seen on chinstraps produced from 1945 until the P55 liner's replacement in the mid 1960s. Love this adorable clutch. It is so pretty and well made. It is a really small size. Its not very versatile and can only be used for dinners or events because you can't fit very much in it, especially if you put your phone in it. The strap is optional. The price is appropriate for an off brand fancy clutch. All in all, I'm happy with this as it looks nice, holds an ID, and looks nice with pretty much any dress.
