Built by Leyland at Workington, 42 two car units were produced using construction methods from the bus building industry. Shortly after entering service, structural faults, including body cracks, led to the fleet being temporarily withdrawn. Rather than restoring them as two car sets, British Rail split 35 units into single vehicles, creating the Class 153 between 1991

Idk how I lived without this. It is the nicest soft, warm material without being too thick. If you lay it out it's also nice and long so I use it as a blanket at night too. I live in this thing, it is so cozy. The pink color is absolutely adorable and I love the pockets and buttons to keep it on.
