Imperial Taper Lock Bush 4040- 2Taper Lock bushes are suitable for use with Sprockets, Belt Pulleys & couplings Taper lock bushes are used to secure Taper Lock Pulleys, Sprockets or Couplings to Shafts. The Taper lock Bush fits into the hub with 2 grub screws, as the grub screws are tightened the Taper lock compresses onto the shaft and keyway securing the Pulley Sprocket. To remove the bush, you remove the 2 grub screws and screw one back into the third hole, lifting the bush out.

The usual box stores wanted around $150-$200 for a New and or Refurbished starter. The Ezexpreze 17749 was such a great deal and It bolted up nicely to my 1999 TJ with the 4.0 4x4! Its a great replacement, I've had it for about half a year but it starts with ease. I'll definitely get me another one as a backup at this price point!
