The smaller butttons were produced over 100 years ago and were worn on gentlemens waistcoats and ladies clothing of the time. They have a delicate and intricate motif. It’s a great looking pea coat, but the stuffing/insulating material appeared to be lacking. Granted price is nice so one can only expect so much. I was willing to overlook this and then I tried it on - the fit was great except for the sleeves. I wear 32-33 sleeves and these must be 35-36. They swallow up my hands. It’s bummer because the maroon/wine color is so nice. I’ll be returning unfortunately
