My dog used to have separation anxiety every time I left the house. I tried to find things to distract her when I left, but nothing kept her attention long enough for me to get out of the house. I got the medium to large size ball for my elderly boxer who has suddenly taken to chewing on everything. The toy has been a decent purchase. Pros: not incredibly stiff plastic for elderly dogs. Easy to manipulate to put treats in the spikes. Easy to clean. Seems engaging for my dog. Cons: probably not for super chewers. This size is probably too small for large or extra large dogs. My dog can easily fit this in his mouth and I wish it was just a little bigger. The ball can only hold one mini milk bone per slot, so it makes for treats to be really easily pulled out. Can't comment on durability yet, haven't had it for long enough. Overall, I like this toy. I just wish it was slightly wider or bigger.

My dog loves these balls almost as much as she loves tennis balls, which she tears up within a day. These two balls have lasted over a week with no signs of wear. I was unsure when I ordered them but they do bounce, not quite like a tennis ball but enough to keep my dog's attention. When using toothpaste in these balls I had to put it deep into the openings or she just licks it off of the surface and when its that deep, it doesn't squeeze out like I think it should. It just stays in the crevasses and gets old and hard. As a ball it's great, as a toothpaste delivery system it's not so great.
