I am very weird with needing a certain kind of texture on me while I sleep, to provide me with a warmth and at ease sleep. It's super soft on both sides. Providing a certain level of coziness. The material isn't the same of course (but) it certainly works. I have an ugg throw on my bed as well and I like both. This blanket feels lighter compared to the ugg throw blanket (but) it has the same sorta softness in the inside. The ugg throw is much thicker than this blanket. Obviously, it's hard to compare the two. Hope this helps
