The upper torso shape is laminated, blocked and carved, with a slight outward curvature to the chest. The neck terminates in a bent heavy wire, much like a question mark. Two large bolts secure the neck to the shoulders. Although its exact use remains unknown, its sculptural qualities are apparent. Bought 4 pairs of these shorts and had to send all four pairs back. They run very big, in the waist and overall. They are super long. My son is 5'10" and he said they were way longer than he wanted them. They appear to be good quality, heavy material jean shorts. I would recommend sizing down if this is the look you're going for. And they're a little pricey.
