Our pup is a 16 lb pug-beagle mix. She is small, but a mighty chewer! We are happy with this rope as it as held up pretty well. The only issue is that some strings do come off of the ends over time. For us it is ok because she isn't one to eat them - but I would caution pet parents with pups who tend to eat things like that. The tied rope bits are staying together and haven't frayed - so overall it is strong! Our pup destroys toys quickly, so that is something!
