Vernaculaire ShelfBelonging to a group called Les Vernaculaires, the frame shapes of these pieces are inspired by traditional regional furniture from Savoie and the Western Alps. This formal design language has largely been abandoned in favor of mass produced industrial furniture from large chains. I revive these forgotten and sidelined forms using a contemporary vocabulary.

We read this story as a class read aloud after we read the first Sprinkles and the Unicorn book. They noticed similar characters, and loved the story line. They’re begging me to buy the whole series of this and all the other books! I can’t read them fast enough.

8yr old loves this book!
Format: Paperback
The storyline here is so fun. My 8yr old needs pictures to avoid feeling overwhelmed by word counts. This is a good balance that keeps her engaged. She's chosen to pick up the book to read without being prompted, which is a win.
