Martin D42 With OHSC - UsedWith the perfect amount of inlay work and special appointments, the D42 makes a similar statement to the D45 but it a more understated way. This 2005 has had 15 years to ripen and really come into it's own. It features gorgeous rosewood back and sides that have the perfect tinge of red, a premium sitka spruce top, a bound neck with pearl snowflake inlay work, and pearl tuning keys. It's in excellent condition with minimal lite surface scratches.

I applied Silex sound deadening material to the rear interior of a Ford Maverick truck cab. Lots of narrow areas, and lots of curved surfaces. This set was a must to properly apply the mats to the metal surface. There were places that I had to push down with my fingers due to obstacles like seat belt mounts, but I could tell that I was not getting the same results as I was with the crimped rollers.

I used this sound deadening material in my car during an audio and interior upgrade, and the difference was noticeable immediately. Road noise, vibrations, and rattling were reduced a lot, especially on the doors and floor panels. The car feels much quieter and more solid while driving now. The material was easy to cut and apply, and the adhesive stuck very well without peeling up. It has a quality feel to it and conforms nicely around curves and tight areas. I also noticed my speakers sound cleaner and have better bass response after installing it. For the price, this sound deadening material is a great value and definitely worth it if you want a quieter ride and better overall sound quality in your vehicle.
