The name Petrcs comes from the former owner of the site, Baron Ernest von Petrasch, Major General of the Austro Hungarian Imperial Army, to whom this magical enclave was bestowed in 1762. While the photo suggests that this mat is enormous, it is a pretty good size at 30 x 20 inches. The chenille is very soft and feels nice on your feet. There is a rubber backing that prevents slippage on smooth bathroom floors. Overall there is nothing terribly noteworthy about this bathmat - it's a nice, high quality mat at a very good price.
