Rare Antique Japanese 1921 Crown Prince Hirohito Europe Tour Tea Cup SaucerThis is an antique Japanese tea cup saucer (chataku), decorated with a map of Eurasia, a number of flags of European countries, and ships on the top and bottom. The back of the saucer has the words "Crown Prince Europe Tour Commemoration". The saucer is made of metal. For this tour Hirohito, the future emperor, spent most of his time in the UK, with side trips to other European countries. It was said to be a revelatory experience for him. Condition:
