SPITFIRE COMPLETE CENTRE ARMREST 1973-76 & 1500 modelThis centre armrest console was introduced for the Spitfire Mk. IV and 1500 models in 1973. The Mk. IV cars used a slightly courser material known in the Trade as 1290 Grain. The later 1500 models from 1976 onwards used a slightly smoother grain known as Stag grain in Black, however the Beige used after 1976 was the same as the previous models. I bought this watch solely out of curiosity. It's not as heavy as I'd like, but the weight reminds me of the Citizen Super Titanium (lovely watch but not a fan). So I gave it to my son. He loves this watch! He wears it all day at school and everywhere we go. He's done such a great job of maintaining it that I'm looking to get him more expensive ones for milestones. Honestly, this is a great starter watch and it's amazing how accurate it is!
