This high performance Hot Shot charging kit includes both a new rotor and a lithium ion battery compatible combination rectifier regulator which looks like the stock unit and mounts in the same location. The kit will put out approximately 150 watts: 50% over stock. You do NOT need to replace your OE stator unless it tests bad, this kit works with the OE stator.

I have two of these bad boys: one at the office and one at home, and I've used them for a couple of years now. I love them. I pair it with a separate Bluetooth keyboard on the desk, and I can't imagine doing computer work without it anymore. Being able to elevate the screen transforms my laptop into a small PC, and I love being able to swivel it around to show a coworker what I'm working on or to just glance at the screen real quick if I'm up walking around. I've never had any stability issues with these. So long as you put it on a level surface, I think you'll be fine. The mStand360 is badass.

Initially, I had some trouble locating the stud and decided to use the drywall anchors. I got one bracket installed and the anchor was already pulling out of the wall. Overall, I think the brackets are great, but just use your own screws and drywall anchors (if needed).
