Lex is dying and tricks Superman in to trying to save him. While this sounds like a spoiler, there is so much more in this tale. Mark Waid knows what he is doing with his stories. So just sit back and enjoy the ride. The art team of Hitch and Nowlan is out of this world, with some mind blowing two page spreads. Okay, I was always lukewarm to Metamorpho before I read this. This reprints the roots of the character and his supporting cast, who are an essential part of these stories. Ramona Fradon's art in these stories will blow your mind, and the banter of the characters will crack you up and warm your soul. BRAVO!
