Sie wollte studieren und Journalistin werden, was ihr als Jdin im nationalsozialistischen Deutschland verwehrt wurde. Daher lernte sie Maschinenstrickerin an der Berliner Modeschule. 1936 flchtete sie nach Palstina. Dort heiratete sie den Schauspieler Friedrich Lobe, mit dem sie zwei Kinder hatte. Ab 1950
