Sturdy paper bowls, economical quantity purchase

I previously bought 50 (?) of the paper plates to check the quality and see how well they hold up before making quantity purchases of other paper products. The bowls hold up well though I use them primarily for cut up avocados, sliced tomatoes, cole slaw, etc. I have used them in the microwave under 15 seconds to reheat toasted English muffins with marmalade with no problem. I use Pyrex glass bowls in the microwave for veggies and soups, so I am unable to speak on how well the bowls hold up with hot foods in the microwave. I resisted buying and using paper bowls and plates for a long time; however, with my 80th birthday fast approaching, the fewer dishes I have to wash means less time standing on my feet.
