It is a size large and exhibits parkerized steel snaps. Steel snaps were most common from mid 1942 to late 1943, afterwards brass was reintroduced due to it no longer being considered a scarce material. This makes it ideal for a helmet liner with either non painted or green painted steel A washers (including Hawleys and low pressure liners). Provenance

We recently had our first camping trip with our ‘84 RV at a local state park. prior to the camping trip, it had rained a lot. At this park, parking is on grass. I was nervous the heavy RV would sink and we would get stuck so I found these. It was packaged nicely. Easy to figure out how to use. It took a bit to get the RV to back over them but was good once it did. Color is bright. They were stable. A few did “bow” we noticed after we grabbed them out.
